Juniper Formation's Wearables Ministry
What began as a dream in November 2023 has blossomed into a thriving ministry. Juniper Formation's Wearables Ministry has continued to grow throughout 2024. This ministry has allowed us to share progressive, liberative theology through art that can be worn, displayed, or gifted. Each piece serves our mission to cocreate an inclusive, justice-centered, loving public voice for Christianity in a world increasingly shaped by Christian Nationalism, religious conservatism, violence, and fascism.
From our first designs to our current collection, our wearable art, home décor, and seasonal pieces create opportunities for relationships of affirmation, celebration, and safety, while supporting our church's broader mission of inclusiveness.
How we were able to grow in 2024:
What started as an experimental ministry has achieved several significant milestones in 2024. Most notably, we launched our Etsy shop, expanding beyond our initial website storefront. By adding our products to Etsy, we are not only able to complement our existing website storefront, but this expansion has allowed us to extend beyond our immediate community, reaching individuals who might not yet know about Juniper Formation but are seeking progressive faith-inspired art that speaks to a liberative theological viewpoint.
The shop on our website remains a place where our community can directly support our ministry, without the additional fees encountered on Etsy.
Each piece we create—whether it's a wearable item, a piece of home décor, or seasonal art—tells a story of faith, inclusion, and community. Our hope is that the thoughtful progressive Christian themes will spark conversations, build community, and encourage reflection.

Looking Forward to Year Two
As we reflect on this year's growth, we're filled with gratitude for our supportive community and excited about the possibilities ahead. Our hope in 2025 is to reach $10,000 in annual revenue while expanding our collection with new designs that speak specifically to and celebrate each unique identity of folks who have been marginalized in our society. Through intentional representation in our art, we continue our commitment to creating spaces where all can see themselves in expressions of progressive faith.
