✨ Join us for the Gathering this Sunday evening, January 19th, on Zoom from 6 to 7 pm MT!
The Gathering is a participatory, cocreated space where you can engage actively or if you’re feeling more like receiving and hanging back in conversation, that is also welcome.
What to expect:
* We’ll check in with one another,
* Engage in our Lectio Divina practice,
* Share our reflections,
* Join together in music and prayer, and
* Share communion.
This week's theme centers on Mariame Kaba's quote: "Let this radicalize you and not lead you to despair."
We will be marking MLK day and the radical thought and action of him and Jesus. If you’re able, we encourage you to watch Dr. King's "The Three Evils of Society" address before we meet, though it's not required—we'll share a clip during our time together.
For our Relational Storytelling Ritual, we will invite you to think about and answer the question: What occurrences and encounters have radicalized you or are currently radicalizing you?
